Thelma was born on October 9, 1927 in Onslow County, North Carolina daughter to the late John Autry and Elizabeth Silence Autry. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Stephen Moore and grandson David Harold Barnhill.
Thelma enjoyed making quilts for her family, gardening and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children: Marie Moore Barnhill, John Stephen Moore, Delbert James Moore and Sylvia Moore Glunt; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A visitation for Thelma will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412.
Funeral Service will start at 11:00 AM in the Coble Chapel with Pastor Gene Tilly officiating. Interment will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington, NC, N.C. 28409.
