She was born in Washington, NC on September 10, 1947 to the late Harold and Naomi Hawkins.
Patricia was a remarkable and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cared more for the people she loved than herself.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert B. Harris Jr, her two children, Patty Harris Steingold and Robert B. Harris III; five grandchildren, Taylor, Alexa, Abigail, and Jake Steingold, and Robert B. Harris IV; two sisters, Betty Blanton and Gail Kimball.
A memorial service will be Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Coble Ward-Smith, Oleander Chapel, officiated by Pastor Joseph Peterson. A eulogy will be read by Katie Craig Phelps. A reception will follow after the service at the Coble Ward-Smith Reception Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1406 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
