Mary J. Guarino

Mary Jean Guarino, 92, of Wilmington, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012. Mary was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Carmine Guarino, and her son, Michael Guarino.

She is survived by her sons, Gerald Guarino of W. Palm Beach, FL, Thomas Guarino of Wilmington, NC, and Christopher Guarino of Wilmington, NC; daughters, Maryann D’Andrea of Wilmington, NC, Carmen Perugini of Buchanan, NY, and Donna Montague of Cary, NC; brothers, Anthony Pelliccio of Wilmington, NC, and Salvator Pelliccio of Armonk, NY; 16 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 2:00p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct, Glen Allen VA 23060.

She will always be remembered by the taste behind “A Taste of Italy”.
