She was born on August 3, 1921, daughter of the late Leatrice Skipper Mintz and J.D. Mintz. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James David Brown.
Mary is survived by her son, Robert B. Baumgardner and his very special friend, Margie Stone; step daughter, Marian Pritchard, and 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Sunday October 6, 2013 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday October 7, 2013 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home
Graveside service will follow at Winter Park Cemetery with Tony Mallard officiating.
Pallbearers will be: Garrett Britt, Dane Britt, Robert Faircloth, Ricky Nelms, Chris Carroll and Jimmy Baumgardner. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Steven Murvin, Leo Carroll, Amos Carroll, L.J. Johnson and Leslie Mintz.
