Jerry Lynn Jordan, 78, of Hampstead passed away on October 28, 2018 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. He was born on January 10, 1940 in Mize, MS to Marvin D and Myrtle Harvey Jordan.
He served in the US Marine Corps and later years was self-employed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Gerry Lynn Jordan, sisters Faye Dicrosta and Joan Miller, and infant great granddaughter Evelyn Ann Tatum.
He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Barbara Taylor Jordan. His son Michael Lynn Jordan of Hampstead, daughter Darla Lynn Jordan Tatum (Michael) of Delaware, grandchildren; Sarah Tatum, Travis Tatum (Heather), Gabrielle Tatum of Delaware and Jordan Tatum (Anais) of Goldsboro, NC, two great grandchildren; Leelend and Mason Tatum of Delaware, sisters; Brenda Skiff of Oak Harbor, Washington, Rose Carvin, Rita Hoda (Ronnie), Beverly Russell (Frank), and Debbie Gertz (Jeff) all of Gulfport, MS.
A graveside service will be held 1PM on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Greenlawn Memorial Park
