Jean O. Coffey, last of eleven siblings, died February 28, 2017. Her devoted husband, Gerald Coffey preceded her in death.
Standing in her wake are her beloved children, son Ron Thompson and wife Bobbi, her daughter Nancy Blanton and husband Richard; Her granddaughters, Crystal Cegielski husband Neil, Shannon Laney, Wendy Young and seven great grandchildren to carry on her family ties.
We will miss her loving smile and wonderful sense of humor and generous nature. Jean was a wonderful wife, mother, grandparent, neighbor and friend. She gave us roots as well as wings. Godspeed Mom, onto your final destination. I know Dad is waiting.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 2pm on Friday March, 3, 2017 at the mausoleum at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington, NC 28409.
