Jane Todd Savage

Jane graduated from Hoggard High School and married Jimmy Savage in 1971. She embraced the Army life and lived in Germany, Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, Kansas, Washington and Virginia. She and her family returned home to Wilmington in 1988.

She worked at Food Lion and made lots of friends at the Pine Valley store.

She was the loving wife of James Savage; mother of Angela Sullivan (Danny) and Merenda Savage; grandmother of Dascha Savage, Elijah Freeman and Deven Freeman; and sister of Carolyn Holleman (Marion), Bruce Fowler (Irene), and Kenny Todd (Jenean). She was predeceased by her siblings, Donnie Rae Todd, Oscar “R.L.” Fowler and Al Fowler.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 6-8pm at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home, 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403. A funeral service will be Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11am at the funeral home where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington.
