James Franklin McCullough, 89, passed away peacefully Monday, February 22, 2010. James was the son of the late George and Beulah McCullough, and was also preceded by three sisters. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret L. McCullough, three daughters; Sue Hart and husband Robert, Beverly Sinsel, Sara Knotts and husband Robin, two sisters, five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
Mr. McCullough was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church, and was formally active as a teacher at the Church of the Nazarene. Wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend, James will be greatly missed and always loving remembered by all whose lives he has touched.
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at Coble Ward-Smith Oleander Chapel. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 25, 2010, at Northside Baptist Church, with interment to follow at Sealawn Cemetery, Hampstead, NC.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
