On Thursday night February, 22nd Deborah Davis went to Heaven peacefully after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born to Richard and Eula Knapp on June 20, 1963. Debbie was a force to be reckoned with, and the world feels heavy in the wake of her loss. Debbie had great Faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ. She walked through her life with Him daily and impacted those of faith around her with her obedience and grace.
Debbie Davis was co-owner of Jacobi Hardware, where she loved working alongside all her employees, as well as her partner, Bob. Debbie Davis was a loving mother to Ava Davis Miller and Julian Dalton Davis. She was also an amazing DeDe (Grandma) to her grandson, Myles Miller. Their relationship was the reason she fought so hard to stay with us. Debbie was also the founder of Blueberry Lane Farm Animal Sanctuary. Her heart and soul went into that place, allowing a place for both humans and animals alike to heal. Debbie was a fighter, an all-around amazing human, and everything she did, she did with great purpose.
She is survived by her son, Julian Dalton Davis, as well as her daughter, Ava Davis Miller, and her husband, Daniel Miller, and Debbie’s grandson, Myles Miller. She is also survived by her sister Penny Brown, her daughter, Chase, and her son, Tanner. She is also survived by her very close friends; Kim Reinhardt, Nicole Lancaster, and Catherine Lea. All of which were considered family by Debbie. She was also a long-time friend of Bill. She was an involved member of St.Stanislaus Catholic Church. At this time her service has been scheduled for 11 am, on Monday, February 26, 2024, at St. Stanislaus in Castle Hayne, with the burial to follow. We ask that only family and close friends be present during the burial. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Blueberry Lane Farm Animal Sanctuary.
Gift cards can be sent to [email protected], and donations can be electronically sent via Venmo- @kim’Reinhardt
Her Celebration of Life is planned to take place at the Sanctuary at a later date this Spring. She was loved by all, and all will miss her very much.
