Carolyn West

Carolyn Beck West age 70 passed away peacefully at her residence in Leland on Saturday March 10th 2012. Carolyn loved to play softball and play games on her computer. She was the daughter of the late Irene Harrleson Beck and the late Leamon Beck. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Cloteal Anderson and Patricia Barber; and her grandson Justin Sellers.

Carolyn is survived by her lovely husband of 52 years Gardner West, Jr. ; two daughters; Sheila West and Sherry West both of Leland.; one brother; Ronnie Beck and wife Mary of Shallotte; two grandsons: Lee Sellers and wife Ashley of Winnabow, Weston Russell of Leland; two great grandchildren Dane and Gracie Sellers of Winnabow. Her special pet Bella.

Funeral service for Mrs. West be conducted on Thursday March 15, 2012 at 11am in the Chapel of Coble Ward- Smith Oleander Drive with Brother Steven Raleigh officiating. A private graveside service will follow at a later date. Active Pallbearers will be Shane Beck, Ronnie Beck, Jr. Robert Alavardo, Jason VanVliete, and Eric VanVliete.

The Family will receive friends on Wednesday March 14th from 6-8 pm at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Services Oleander Drive.
