In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers: Alvin Landen, Archie Landen, Pete Landen, Bill Landen and Bobby Landen.
She was a long time member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She served as President and Treasurer during her 25 years of service.
Barbara is survived by her husband Ransom Charles Johnson Sr. of the home; Ransom Charles Johnson, Jr. of Wilmington, NC; Keith Landen Johnson and wife Jennifer of Burgaw, NC. and grandchildren: Brooke, Landen and Parker.
A Visitation will be held at 10 – 11 am on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at St. Andrews Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1416 Market St. Wilmington, NC. The Funeral Service will follow at 11am at St. Andrews Covenant Presbyterian Church with Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd. Wilmington, NC.
