Marlene Sandra Williams

Adored wife of Robert Williams, and cherished mother of her three sons, Rick (Trish), Mike (Carol), and Dan (Michelle) Williams. More than anything else, she was a very loving grandmother to her dear grandchildren Jake, Ben, Jenna (Matt) Semetulskis, Erika (Andy) Lieser, Tom, Leo, Spenser, Haylee, and Ashley Williams.

Devoted daughter of the late Jack and the late Belle Lasky. She was a dedicated sister and best friend to siblings Alyce (Jerry) Stanton, Harold (Rita) Lasky, Myra (Larry) Stone; cherished sister-in-law of the late Marcia (Ken) Haske, and Bennett (Sue) Williams; treasured aunt of Jackie (Stewart) Freeman, Stuart (Lisa) Stanton, Gail (the late Bobby) Roberman, Jeff Stone, Donna (David) Rosuck, Andy (Laurel) Stone, Julie (CJ) Mueller, the late Todd Lasky, Ferrell (Jeff) Gordon, Leah (Nick) Casto, Ahbra (Andrew) Moses, Eli Williams, and great aunt to their many amazing children.

She was born on December 16th, 1937 in Chicago, IL. Marlene married the love of her life, Bob. Together they shared 66 beautiful years of marriage. Her marvelous and loving spirit is carried on by her three sons. Marlene was known for her love of family, friends, fashion, travel, thoughtful handwritten notes, and sharp wit. Marlene was a force, and family and friends were the center of her universe. Her devotion to her loved ones and her zest for life will carry on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Friends and family will gather for a funeral service for Marlene that will be held Monday, October 16th, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Boulevard, Wilmette, Illinis 60091. An interment will occur Monday, October 16th, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Zion Gardens Cemetery, 6758 West Addison Street, Chicago, Illinois 60634. A meal of condolence will occur Monday, October 16th, 2023 at 3:15 PM at The Continental Restaurant, 788 South Buffalo Grove, Buffalo Grove, Illinois 60089.
