Lenore Rochelle Kamien, nee Gutman, 86, of Wilmette. Lenore was born in Brooklyn to Abraham and Molly.
After attending high school there, she earned a bachelor’s degree in education and went on to teach elementary school. She was deeply involved in B’nai Brith Women and was, at one point, the regional chair. She loved word games, travel, and fine dining and was deeply generous to all.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Morton. Loving mother of Randall (Jenny) and proud grandmother of Samuel and Sophia.
Service was held graveside on August 15, 2024. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Women International (formerly B’nai Brith Women) or to the Anti-Defamation League.
