Jack L. Frank

Jack Frank, 88, former owner of A. Frank Printing Equipment, died peacefully June 2, 2022. Jack was born in Chicago in 1934 to Al and Florence Frank. His love of cars led him to become a mechanic before joining his father in operating the family's printing machinery company. Jack was beyond generous, helping many friends start businesses of their own. He would drop everything to help you out and if he couldn't do it himself - don't worry - he had a guy. When he wasn't in the garage restoring classic cars, he was attending swap meets, reading hot rod magazines, and talking to his car club buddies over hot dogs and Italian sausage sandwiches. He also traveled the world, but some of his favorite trips were to Italy, Hawaii and Las Vegas.

He was incredibly proud of his family, but especially his 8 great-grandchildren who he babysat regularly, often picking them up from school and taking them out for ice cream and milkshakes.

Jack is preceeded in death by his beloved wife Ann "Cookie" Frank. He is survived by his daughters, Joy (Frank) Casciaro, Sandy (Michael) Whaley, his grandchildren, Samantha (Brett) Julien, Mikey Jaski, Rachel (Tony) Marchionne, Ashley (Tony Barron) Huebner, and Nicholas Huebner, Christina (DJ) Hammett, his great-grandchildren, Cooper & Finn Julien, Frankie & Jax Jaski, Jeanette & Jackson Huebner, Jade & Jasper Barron as well as his sister, Yvette (Richard) Greenspan, his nieces and nephews, Ian (Janet) Greenspan, Loran Schubarg, and Alyssa (Marc) Goldstein, and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ricky, Timmy & Victoria Schubarg, Rose, Chaya, & Aden Goldstein, and Austin & Britt Hope.

Family and friends will begin gathering at 10:00am, Monday June 6th, at Weinstein and Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd. in Wilmette. Funeral services begin at 11:00am with graveside services to follow around 12:30pm at Ridgewood Cemetery in Glenview.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Jack's memory to St. Judes Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
