Dear Catalfamo family,

Sorry it's taken so long for me to write how sorry I was to hear about Pat, or Mrs. C, as we all used to call her.  She was like a second mother to me when I was a kid living on University with the whole gang--so long ago!  She was kind, thoughtful, and always took an interest in what I had to say.  She was a wonderful person all around.  Her influence on me was almost as strong as my own mother.  Love to all of you and God bless.

I am so sorry to hear of Pat's passing.  I have many fond memories of her.  She, and my late husband Joe, kept each other supplied with jokes.  Our get-togethers with the Principal's Group were a lot of fun.  Tony, take care.

Uncle Tony and family  - I was very sad to hear about Aunt Pat.  She was such a kind, caring, wonderful person who brought happiness to so many. I will always cherish times spent together at family reunions, Christmas Eve gatherings and Florida visits.  When I think about her it is always with a smile on her face.  I hope your endless amount of amazing memories help you through this time. Thoughts and prayers to all of you.

I was so saddened to hear of Pat's passing.  I have so many incredibly wonderful memories of our time together at Follow Through school - I recently said that there are few people in life who come into yours and make an immediate and profound impact on you - Pat did that for me!  I will forever remember her gorgeous smile, her sense of humor, her compassion and devotion to her darling Tony and her family!  May she rest in peace!  

So sad to hear your news. I have so many great memories growing up next door to your family. Pat was such a wonderful person and friend for so many years to my parents. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Tony and all...I am heartbroken. Pat was Mom's best friend and Tony was Dad's. There are so many memories...of a childood shared with the Catalfamo's... all those lazy days at the cottage at Long Beach, Sparrow Lake and so many CFM activities.  We used to call Pat and Mom, " Wilma and Betty"! The familiarity of our lives growing up on University Ave...Pat was like a second mother to me and so kind to us when we shared the loss of our beloved parents. I am sure she has now joined all of the many angels of our childhood, together again...guarding all of us and protecting us until we are together again. I am so deeply sad to see this very heart breaking news. Growing up, I always felt Mrs. Catalfamo was like my dearest aunt. An incredibly beautiful soul, kind in every way, so loving & so very good to all she knew. She will forever be a wonderful part of my youth. I could never forget our camping adventures with our beloved St. Joseph's University Heights CFM families. Those were such fun days together.  The warm, amazing laughter that lulled me to sleep on all the evenings the Spina's hosted the Catalfamo's, Feron's & Roach's for their frequent gourmet dinner parties. How magnificently sweet Mrs. Catalfamo was when my Mom passed away 38 years ago. She was so good to our family, I will never, ever forget. I could go on & on & on with all the heartfelt memories I have of her. My very deepest condolences to Mr. Catalfamo, to Nancy, Kathy, Tony, Mary Ellen, Theresa and Chrissy & each of your respective family's, as well, of course. I'm SO terribly sorry for your monumental loss. There is no question she's in Heaven laughing heartily with her warm, wonderful, beautiful smile, awaiting you all. ♥️

My deepest condolences to you, Mr. Catalfamo and all the kids. I can see your mom as clear as day in my mind’s eye, and it has been 40+ years since I have seen her. One thing stands out: her perpetual happiness that was revealed by her ever-present smile and ready laugh.  God has gained an angel.

Regrettably I am among the younger cousins that didn’t get enough time to spend with you all but the stories my Grandma told fill my soul and keeps me warm with the same love Pat taught how to keep a house full of kids and their neighbors busy all year round!
