In loving memory of Norman T. Blatner, born July 17th, 1915, survived by his wife of 71 years Theresa (Ricigliano) Blatner, sons Bill (Angela), Richard, Norman (Jo Ann), grandchildren Brian (Susan), Donald (Debbie), Robb (Rhonda), Anthony, Maria, Philip, Peter, Joseph, Marie and Jessica; and great-grandchildren Samantha, Steven, Sydney, Evan, Carson, Joseph & Gabrielle.
Norman proudly served in the US Army as an infantryman seeing the final 7 months of the war as a POW.
He was the owner of one of the larger Texaco service stations in the area. Much to his satisfaction, he passed on his love of cars to his son "Billy" and ultimately to his grandchildren who manage the family business today. He finally finished his career as a truck driver with Morgan Linens and was a member of the Teamsters Union.
Norman's passions were his family, his faith, his country and golf.
To my dearest husband, the best dad, the greatest grandfather; "we will miss your companionship, your wisdom, your guidance and your perserverance! We love you!" Frinds may call sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the PERNA DENGLER ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME 1671 Maple Road, Williamsville. Friends are invited to attend a mass of christian burial monday from St. Gregory the Great RC Church at 9 am. Mr. Blatner will be buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with full Military honors.
