Patricia Marie Woodrel

Patricia Marie (Raff) Woodrel, 81, of Williamston, MI, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2024. Born on August 20, 1943, in Lansing, MI, Pat graduated from Sexton High School and built a fulfilling life rooted in her family and friends.

She was a longtime employee of Oldsmobile and later retired from Michigan State University. Pat married Tony Woodrel, and together they had two children, Michael Anthony and Michelle Marie.

She was a proud member of the Webberville Lions Club and is survived by her son Michael (Kitt) Woodrel, daughter Michelle (Woodrel) Lycos, and four cherished grandchildren: Blake(18) and Jace(15) Woodrel, and Maybelle(14) and Doran(12) Lycos. She is also remembered fondly by many wonderful friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Jennie Raff.

She was a kind and caring soul who had a gift for making everyone smile. Her love for family, pets, friends, and life’s simple joys was unmatched. She was an avid fan of Elvis, loved going to dinner and the movies, and had a passion for travel. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed playfully joking around. Above all, Pat was incredibly proud of her children and grandchildren. Her lifelong friendships brought her immense joy, and she deeply cherished each one.

Services will be held on September 4, 2024, at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home in Williamston, located at 205 E. Middle St, Williamston, MI 48895. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM with a service at 12:00 PM. Interment will be at 1:30 PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing. A Celebration of Life will follow 3:30 PM, Brookshire Inn and Golf Club, 205 W Church St, Williamston, MI 48895.

Pat’s warmth, humor, and love will be dearly missed, but her legacy of kindness will continue in the hearts of those who knew her.
