We are so sorry of the loss of Aunt Betty.  We believe she was able to say hello to Renee and is at peace.  We loved her very much and will miss her.  You are all in our prayers.  Love, Ken, Sam and Ben!

Dear Jim and Matthew,

I first met Betty when she brought Matthew to co-op nursery. I will always remember her as a most devoted and involved parent but I never saw her love of Matthew blind her to areas where a little improvement might be welcome...and just so you know...coming from a teacher that is a solid compliment.  Matthew I still have a little clothespin soldier Christmas ornament you gave me.  Every year when it goes on our tree I think of you and your Mom.  Betty was a loving parent and I am sure she was a wonderful grandma as well.

I love seeing her beautiful face but it hurts my heart so much.  

If everyone had and “Aunt Betty” in their lives the world would be a better place.  She made everyone  feel special and important. 

Thank you, Aunt Betty, for all the special times, beautiful birthday cakes, cards for every holiday.   Your smile and laugh will stay with me forever.   I love you and will miss you so much!



Many years ago the Geiger’s would go to Port Huron to play cards and spend time at the beach with the Marengo’s. Aunt Betty and Uncle Jim always traveled for family occasions.Family was very important to them.They opened there home in Flint to us when our sons played travel hockey. We sure enjoyed Aunt Betty’s home cooking. The last special thing we did together with them us in Bradenton Fl. It was their last winter there. We stay at their mobile home and they introduced us to the Bradenton area. We fell in love with the beaches of Ann Marie’s Island. We moved there , and it’s all because Aunt Betty insisted we come. She was a very thoughtful and kind person. We will all miss her.

Betty was such a caring, loving woman who would do anything for anyone. She is missed by all of us.
I remember her from my childhood when all the Geiger's and Marengo's would converge on Jim and Betty's cottage on the lake. Dad (Paul), and Grandpa Stan and Grandma Viola were all crazy happy when a weekend would come and everyone would get together. Dad would make a trip to Canada for beer, and Grandpa would bring a cooler with burgers and hot dogs. Both with lots of change in their pockets, (Chicky-chick!)
Betty, Helen, Frances , my mom Ileana, would corral all us kids and keep us from getting into too much trouble .Aunt Betty would always make sure all the niece's and nephews were well fed and taken care of, with flashlight tag, red-light green light being played in the yard. If we couldn't find something or needed something Aunt Betty was the go to, because she did everything with a smile on her face and joy in her heart. And Patience!!!
She would corral us all when the cards came out, for it was now time for the adult cousins to play, with blue air and language.
When I finished college, I worked for a small lab that had a phlebotomy office in Port Huron, but the lab was in Flint. There was an opening in the Flint lab, and Betty asked me if I would use her for a recommendation. That is when she was working as a Transcriptionist, and her doctor was sending work to the lab, Suffice it to say I got the job, met my wife there, and started my career. 
To Betty is was just a small thing she did, but it was a huge thing that transformed my life. 
That is who she is - always in every ones corner - I don't need to tell you. Miss you again Betty - always, Our sincerest sympathies to the entire Geiger Family , and I will still remember the good times, and her smile.
