David Floyd Perkins

David Floyd Perkins, age 55, passed away Monday November 17, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.

“Big Dave” as most people referred to him as, was a true outdoors man who loved to hunt and fish. He was very intelligent, making the dean’s list every year at Ferris State University, and was the past President of Eagles Club in Williamston. David was well loved by many, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

David is preceded in death by his father James Perkins and sister Tara Perkins. Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving mother JoAnne Perkins, brothers Patrick and Tom Perkins, sister Jennifer Keegan, nieces Bella Perkins, Sarah Perkins and Katie (Kirk) Oesterle, nephew Jacob Perkins, great-niece Adrielle, and great-nephews Carter and Colten.

A memorial mass will be held Saturday November 22, 2014 at 12:00pm at St. Mary Catholic Church of Williamston, with Rev. Mark Rutherford officiating. The family will receive friends Friday November 21, 2014 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at St. Mary Church, with Rosary prayed at 7:30pm.
