Bonita Krauss of Lansing, MI, passed away on June 17, 2022, at the age of 81. Born in Detroit, Bonnie graduated from Farmington Hills High School and then Wayne State University, where she received her degree to become an Occupational Therapist. She will be fondly remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed baking, knitting, reading, crafts, sewing, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, square dancing, cards, board games, and bowling. She also loved spending time with her friends and family.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband, Donald William Krauss, and parents Walter Edwin Gale and Margaret Beth Gale. Surviving is her son, Bill Krauss.; daughters Janine (Paul) Dembski and Dianne (Jim) Krauss Armijo; grandchildren Nicholas Snyder, Jason (Katie) Snyder Jr., and Monica Dembski; and great-grandchildren Alana Snyder, Julian Snyder, Keera Snyder, Jade Snyder, and Octavia Yon. The family of Bonnie Krauss would like to thank all of their friends and family for their support during this time of sorrow.
There will be a public visitation at 11 AM on Friday, June 24th, at Williamston Free Methodist Church, followed by a funeral service at 12 PM.
