Michael James Colonna, 48, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 24, 2021. He was born on April 6, 1973 and is preceded in death by his father John Wayne Colonna, and a brother, William "Donnie" Colonna.
Michael was a lifelong resident of the greater Williamsburg area, attending York County schools and graduating Bruton High School. He was an avid reader, enjoyed history and science, loved animals, and was an amateur coin collector.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Williams (Doug); brother, Dwayne (Tina); sister, Melinda Myers (Eddie), and Jeni Martin; sister-in-law, Toni; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of a funeral, the family will hold a private memorial at a later date. Donations can be made in Michael's name to either the National Kidney Foundation or Heritage Humane Society.
