James Michael LeMaire

James “Jim” LeMaire, 68, of Williamsburg, VA passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, January 23, 2016. Jim was born in New York, on April 27, 1947 to parents William F. and Thelma LeMaire. Jim graduated from Hofstra University in New York, and was proud to have served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was an analytical man and enjoyed his career as a Director of Financial Systems because work was like a puzzle, and he loved puzzles of all kinds. Jim was an avid gardener and reader, but above all else, Jim most enjoyed being a grandpa. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, William F. and Thelma LeMaire. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 44 years, Christine; son, Kevin (Leslie); daughter, Karen (Brandon English); son, Jason; daughter, Erin; grandson and “Best Buddy”, Jacob; three brothers, William, Thomas, and John; and one sister, Marie. The family of Jim LeMaire will receive guests at Nelsen Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 6-8pm.
