Grace Irene Murray

Grace grew up in New York City and later moved to Alexandria, VA where she worked for Edison Electric Institute as an Administrative Assistant & Coordinator for 22 years. She retired at the age of 57 and moved to Williamsburg in 1999 to get away from the cold northern winters. She enjoyed traveling and sightseeing with her friends.

Grace was a faith-filled prayer warrior and parishioner at St. Bede Catholic Church for 19 years. She was a member of the Young at Heart ministry and served as a volunteer at FISH, Inc.

Grace is survived by her cousin Edward Reed and nieces, nephews and many friends. She is remembered for her abiding love of God, neighbor, and family and for her sense of humor, and her enduring faith. She was loved by all who were blessed to know her.

A visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at St. Bede Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Road, Williamsburg, VA. A memorial Mass will follow at 2 p.m. She will be interred at St. Raymond’s Cemetery in NY at a later date.
