Donald Edward Ouellette

Donald E. Ouellette, 68, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023 in Williamsburg, VA. He is preceded in death by his father, Adrien Ouellette. Donald was a professor of Human Anatomy and Physiology at the Virginia Peninsula Community College, formerly known as Thomas Nelson Community College. He was also a member of St. Bede Catholic Church. He served his country in the U.S.C.G. for 23 years retiring as a Commander. During his service, Donald received the Meritorious Service Medal with one gold star; CG Commendation Medal with two bronze stars; in addition to many other medals and badges. Donald enjoyed reading, gardening, hiking (walking), FaceTime with “grandchildren”, swimming, and quiet time with nature. Survivors include his wife, Tina Ouellette; son, Nicholas Ouellette (Lisa); daughter, Adrianna Rivera (Jonathon); grandchildren, Colette Rivera (6 years old) and Bentley Ouellette (18 months); mother, Barbara Ouellette; brothers, Steven, Scott, and Jay Ouellette; and sister, Bonnie Gravel. A visitation will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 28 at St. Bede Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Rd., Williamsburg at 2:00PM.
