James Edwin Barnett

James Edwin “Eddie” Barnett, 61, of Willard, died Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at his residence. He was born April 29, 1956 in Willard, OH the son of Edwin and Lois (Bolen) Barnett. Eddie worked as a truck driver, construction worker and mechanic. He was an avid movie collector, enjoyed making picture collages and his 1978 Monte Carlo. His grandchildren and great –grandchildren were the highlights of family gatherings, he’d be the first to hold the babies or could be found playing on the floor amongst all of them.

Surviving are his children: Raquel (Danny) Stephens of Willard, OH; Eddie Barnett of Attica, OH; Roxanne (Eric) Patterson of Zanesville, OH; James (Emily) Barnett of Willard, OH; Jamie Barnett of Willard, OH; Erica (Sean) Barnett of Tiffin, OH; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters Sandra (Robert) Kilgore of Winter Haven, FL; Jennifer (Gabe) Kessler of Mansfield, OH; numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his daughter Nicole, parents and grandparents: Arlie and Katie Barnett and Troy and Elsie Bolen.

Graveside services will take place Monday, November 6, 2017, 11:00A.M. at Maple Grove Cemetery. The staff of Lindsey Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave, Willard, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
