To the Banko family,   I was truly sorry to hear of Walter's passing. My condolences to all of you.   I had the pleasure of playing softball with Walter this past winter and found him to be a great person. A good teammate who was competitive and reliable.
May he have eternal peace and may your family find solace in a life well lived.

Please accept our sincere condolences on Walter’s sudden passing. The Steelers team enjoyed having Walter on our team as a replacement player for the brief period during our season. He was appreciated by all the team members, and we missed him.

It was such a pleasure to have had Walter as a teammate for two seasons.  He was a great player and always supportive of the team.  You will be missed and your memory will live on within the softball community.  Glad bless you Linda.  We will keep you in our prayers and close in our hearts.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Walter. I had just talked to him at the field. Walter was a great guy and a great teammate. I played three seasons with Walter.  Walter did not say much, but he was very funny. The Lord got a good one,when he called Walter home. Rest in peace my friend.

God speed Walt.  I was an honor  being your 1st baseman.  Enjoy our hitting chats.

Truly missed everyday even more now than ever.

D3 softball will miss you Walter.  Hopefully you will be joining other former team mates in a better place.
