Walter W “Rockie” Trarbach, 92 passed away on August 21, 2012. Walter was born on a farm in Rooks County, KS to Wilhelm and Albertina (Jantz) Trarbach. Walter worked at Boeing as a Supervisor of Quality Control. He served in WWII for the U.S. Navy. On October 04, 1948 Walter married Lila (Skinner). He was an active member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Boeing Management Club, a Boy Scout Leader, SWBC Baseball Coach, and Professional Gun Dog Trainer. Survivors included wife; Lila Trarbach, sons; Mark (Rosemary) Trarbach, Curtis (Cindy) Trarbach, William (Kathy) Trarbach, five grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral Service will be held 10:00a.m. Friday, August 24, 2012 at Bethany Lutheran Church, 1000 W 26th St. South Wichita, KS. Burial will follow at Resthaven Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers memorials Disabled American Veterans or Bethany Lutheran Church.
