Younkin, Wallace “Wally”, born to Jay and Esther Younkin on November 11, 1922, Wally passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 18, 2015 at 92 years of age. Wally was a member of the Haysville Masonic Lodge, the Bethany United Methodist Church, and was a WWII Navy veteran. He enjoyed gardening, camping, watching the Royals and the Shockers, and was a loving father and grandfather. Wally is preceded in death by his first wife and mother to his children, Louise, and his second wife Lucille; sister Margaret Schnell; and great-granddaughter Jamie Clifford. He is survived by daughter Carolyn Rainwater; son Philip (Debra) Younkin; brother Deane (Betty) Younkin; sister Ruth Reim; grandchildren Cory (Laura E.) Rainwater, Bradley Rainwater, Carrie (Lyle) Clifford, Matt (Megan) Younkin, and Jenni Younkin; 1 great grandson and 7 great granddaughters. A viewing will be held Sunday October 25th from 5-7 PM and services will be held Monday October 26th at 10:00 AM both at Resthaven Mortuary.
