Vivian (Wade) Clark

Vivian M. “Vicky” (Wade) Clark, 93, of Wichita, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at Via Christ St. Joseph Hospital, Wichita. She was a homemaker and had worked as a riveter at Boeing Aircraft Co. in Wichita during WWII.

Vicky was born on May 28, 1921, in Stansbury, MO, the daughter of Froland W. and Ethel Blanche (Haulman) Wade. She graduated from McPherson High School. On April 27, 1944, Vicky was united in marriage to Donald W. Clark in Wichita, KS. He preceded her in death on May 11, 2006.

She was a lifetime member of the McPherson Opera House.

Survivors include: her son, Glenn Clark and wife, Christy, of Derby, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Don, brother, Ralph F. Wade, and sister, Catherine McCartney

Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, September 4, at Hillside Funeral Home East, 935 North Hillside Street, Wichita. Graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM, Friday, Sept. 5, at McPherson Cemetery.
