Virginia Marie (Young) Merrill, age 76, of Whitewater, Kansas passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023. Virginia was born December 29, 1946, in Battleground, Washington to Erna Helen Olson Young and Harry Charles Young.

Virginia is survived by her son Phillip Merrill; daughter Cynthia Bowen (Jon); brothers Charles Young (Tami) and Robert Young (Donna); grandchildren Shelby Beaudoin, Travis Beaudoin (Petra), Alexis Croom (Jack); and great grandchildren Lukas, Elaine, Lily, Greyson, Ivy, and baby Graham.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Wesley Merrill; father Harry Charles Young; mother Erna Helen Olson Young; brother Ron Young; and sister Judy Young.
