Troy Philbrick

Philbrick, Troy E. “Bam Bam”, 39, of Wichita, Kansas passed away Friday June 10th, 2016 in Wichita. Troy was born on May 6th, 1977 in Kinsley, Kansas. He was the son of Pete and Sue Philbrick. Troy was a former diesel mechanic at Central Detroit Diesel in Wichita. He was considered a "gentle giant" by family and friends. He loved all animals and had a passion for cars. He was a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather to be, son, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him. Troy was considered a father figure to many. He was preceded in death by his father, William “Pete” Philbrick. Survivors include his loving wife, Celena Philbrick of Wichita, children, Shelbie Harris of Shawnee Mission, KS, Kaylee Philbrick of Wichita, step-children, Tyler Prouse, Summer Prouse and Sierra Prouse, mother, Sue Philbrick, sister, Carrie Philbrick, nephew, Anthony Gonzalez (Veronica Calderon), niece, Arabelle Gonzalez, great-nephews, Dominic and Noah Gonzalez-Calderon all of Wichita and one grandchild on the way. Memorial services will be 3pm on Monday June 20th, 2016 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Dignity Celebrant Cyndi Pearce Presiding.
