Thomas Jacob Lent

He served in the U.S. Air Force for three years in Harlingen, Texas. Thomas married Hortensia (Tangie) Gonzalez at St. Anthony Catholic Church, June 4, 1955 in Harlingen, Texas.

Thomas received his Master's in Art Education from Wichita State University. He taught Drawing/Painting and Ceramics/Sculpture at Wichita North High School from 1955 to 1980.

In June 1980 Thomas and his wife moved to La Rosita, Texas where they established La Loma Rio RV Park and Angel Gallery. Thomas practiced stewardship at Christ the King Catholic Church, Wichita, Ks. and Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church in La Rosita, Tx.

Thomas was proceeded in death by Hortensia his lovely wife of 50 years, son Paul Robert, his parents and half siblings.

Thomas is survived by his children Maria (Tony); Therese (Tim); T. John (Laura) and Angela (Ron). Thomas is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, four sisters in law, one brother-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews who love him dearly.

A Rosary will be said at 9:30 am followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 7th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 645 N. 119th St. W. Wichita, Ks. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 212 West Willow Road, Enid, Oklahoma.
