Steve helped us many times with our pool over the years!He worked hard,had lots of stories and was a happy person!We like to picture him in Heaven caring for God's giant pool!Condolences and deepest sympathy to Sherry and family...😓

Our hearts go out to Sherry and her family. Used to know him since he played in deaf softball team around 90’s and also involved in Word of Life church.  We are truly missed him on earth. 

The day you held your first grandchild. You was so happy and proud to be Papa. I love you Dad. I’m going to miss you so much. This all happened to fast. 

I liked Steve since 2nd grade at Peterson school. Swim team summers were the best. Quarterly lunches won't be the same without him. Sorry for your loss Sherry, Doug, and family.

Debbie and I were fortunate to have spent a lot of time with Steve. Nearly every Sunday he would wash his truck and end up in our backyard for coffee and conversation. We talked about everything from recipes to pets and shared about  losses of friends, family, and pets. Steve was multitalented and did every project around our place that I wasn’t able or willing to do including  our pool, new deck floor and building an above ground garden. I’ll miss his texts saying “ I’m in your backyard drinking your beer”. Rest easy Steve. We love you. Jim and Debbie

What a loss for Steve.   Used to play softball against Wichita  deaf club some summers.   Pray for his family and  deaf community in Wichita.  My  prayers…. Charlie Farrell

My heart goes out to the family. I know you were loved in the deepest way by your Family and Friends. My memories come from way back at West Highschool. You were our star. Shining with your beautiful spirit. May you rest in peace my friend. And know everyone who knew you had a gift of your very presence. You will be missed!

Condolences on the recent passing of Steve. We remember getting acquainted back in the 90's at Word of Life Church. When we moved across the street we were surprised to see you guys already in the neighborhood. Steve was someone who always was ready to give a helping hand. He will be greatly missed. 




Love and gonna miss you. I know how much you loved your wife, and sons. I'm very honored I had a chance too get to know you.  I may not know you like many others, But from what I know and saw, You loved your family you are human!!!  You were the right kind of hard on your kids to push them to be them best they could be. But still human enough to understand they are human like you. I remember when you came to my gym. That was my first time actually ever meeting you even though I've heard about you. I'm honored too have met you and your family. I love your Mr Ballard Aka coach Ballard you will never know the impact you have left in this world or maybe you will. But you did. Your Family loves you the people you impacted loves you. Rest in peace till we all meet again. And Thank you so much for your presence and for you just being you.  I love Sir... Christopher Lyons
