Sharon K Smith

Sharon Kathleen Cross was born April 15, 1966 in Wichita, the daughter of Gary L. and Judith “Judy” (Shearer) Cross.

She grew up in Wichita and graduated from Wichita North High School with the class of 1984. She was employed for 30 plus year at I.F.R./Aeroflex in Wichita, as an assembly reworker.

On May 22, 1999, Sharon was united in marriage to Jason Andrew Smith at the Faith United Church in Christ, Wichita. This union was blessed with three children, Kristina, Katelynn, and Cooper.

Sharon liked anything creative, crafting, baking, or making flower arrangements for numerous wedding or events and blankets for loved ones. She would even help Jason work on the radios he would restore and other electronic components. She enjoyed singing in multiple choirs thru the years, and playing in the church bell choir.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Cross.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Jason. Her children Kristina Wells and husband Timothy, Katelynn Smith, and Cooper Smith, all of Wichita. She is also survived by her mother Judith Cross and siblings Stephen Cross and David Cross. Surviving grandchildren are Jacksen Wells, Maysen Wells, Annabella Wells, Logan Duree, her niece Chelsie Dobler and husband Derek and their children Elle and Freddie, and nephew Taylor Cross as well as many other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
