Sharon Erwin, beloved mother, grandmother, wife and Registered Nurse, drew her last breath surrounded by her family on April 18, 2021 at the age of 54. She fought a strong battle against ovarian cancer for the past two years and ultimately chose to spend her final days immersed in the love shared between her and her husband, daughters and granddaughters. Sharon’s love for her family was unmistakable and she also shared a sincere love and passion for her career as a Registered Nurse where she served at the Adorer’s of the Blood of Christ for the past several years. Sharon was born in Wichita, KS on January 4th of 1967. She attended Butler Community College in pursuit of her nursing degree which she obtained in 2011. To say that Sharon was a good mother would be an understatement, she was a single mother at a very young age but she did not let that stop her from dedicating her life to her children and her grandchildren and instilling the lasting values of love and unwavering support in each one of them. She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Erwin; her three daughters, Kristin (Jared) Sutton, Ashli (Adam) Lawson, and youngest daughter, Brandy Shain; as well as her 16 grandchildren, Darin, Jacie, Gavin, Mickey, Jace, Jolie, Marlie, Easton, Kensie, Wyatt, Adalynn, Emma Rose, Daxton, Maddock, Jacob, and Dylan. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lindsey Shain; her parents, Edith Broadhead and Harvey Seibel; and her granddaughter, Kaylin Rose. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 23rd at 1:00pm at Bridgeport Missionary Baptist Church located at 6161 S. Meridian Ave, Wichita, KS 67217. A memorial in Sharon's memory has been established with Bridgeport Missionary Baptist Church at the address listed above.
