Rosemary E.V. Walls, 80, passed away on November 18, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born on October 22, 1941 in England to Fredrick and Joyce Jude. She was united in marriage to Donald Walls on November 13, 1962, when she came to America.
It would be wrong to say that Rose lost her battle to cancer because she never stopped fighting. No matter how ill she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, she stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Rose. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight.
Rose was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Donald W. Walls. She is survived by her children Howard (Annie), Dean (Carla), Edna (Paul) Winger, and Wayne; grandchildren Ian (Trista) Shain, Justin (Ashley), Austin (Alyssa) Walls, Tyler Shain (Kaitlyn Martin), Savanna (Ray) Boese and Shawn (Heather) Hamby; great granddaughters Emerson and Emberly Shain.
Visitation will be at 1pm on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Lakeview with service following at 2pm. Memorials in remembrance of Rose can be made to Heartland Home Healthcare & Hospice or Home Instead.
