Robert took pride in what he loved doing; he fished, hunted, and (mostly) took care of his yard in Norwich, that is when he wasn’t out on the road cruising on his Harley. His heart was always filled with joy when he spent time with his family, always with the biggest grin on his face. He made sure to teach his daughters how to love others, be independent, and to go after their dreams; he helped form them into who they are today his kindness, guidance and encouragement.
He was a man who was proud of his Native American roots and lived his life sustaining the traditions of his heritage; he wouldn’t make a Facebook post without prefacing that he was an “Old NDN” before gracing us all with some of his wisdom. He was a man of faith, leaning on Him whenever he felt troubled, worried, or fearful.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and random strangers whom he always kept in his thoughts and prayers.
Robert is survived by his wife, Priscilla Davila; daughter Sierra Ness (Mitchell); daughter Andrea Little Bird Wright (Daniel); brother Ronald Davila (Shirley); sister Sandra Victors (Juan); sister Roberta Ware; grandson Gryffin; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Harley.
