Pink A. Jackson, 88 born on October 27, 1922 on a farm near Sycamore, Kansas, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2011. Pink served in the Army-Air Corp during WWII. He retired from Beech as Aeronautical Engineer after 46 years.
In 1942 he married his childhood sweetheart Wanda Smith. He will be reunited with his family, Hollis and Opal, infant son Larry Wayne, infant great grandson Logan William Glunt. Survived by his loving wife of 68 years Wanda, daughter Jean Tiemann (Chris) of Highlands Ranch, CO, son Terry Jackson (Cheryl), daughter Pat Sailing (Don), daughter Sherri Droegemeier (Chris) all of Wichita, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. His family finds comfort in knowing he is with Jesus.
Viewing 1pm-8pm Friday January 7, 2011 at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt. Funeral Service 10am, Saturday, January 8, 2011 at First Church of The Nazarene Chapel, burial to follow at Resthaven Garden of Memories.
