Melvin R. Lallement

Melvin R. Lallement, 84, beloved father, grandfather and retired Applications & Systems Programmer, passed away in the company of family on the 8th of November 2015. Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence A. and Alma Lallement; siblings, Anita Faye Pollock, Martha Lewis, Maurice I. Lallement; and his wife of 63 years, Grace H. Lallement. He is survived by daughters, Grace M. Lallement of Goddard and Anna “Meg” Lallement of Kansas City, Missouri; son, Maurice V. (Mary Rochelle) Lallement of Wichita; brother, Lawrence E. Lallement; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Recitation of the Holy Rosary is to commence at seven o’clock in the evening on Thursday, the 12th of November and a Mass of Christian Burial is to be celebrated at one o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 13th of November, at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 19230 W. 29th St. N., Colwich, KS 67030. The Rite of Committal is to follow, via an escorted cortege, to Resurrection Cemetery.
