On April 16, 1951, she married the love of her life, Paul Calvert. She was a stay at home mother who was very proud of her work from home job of making paper mache forms for a taxidermist. She made everything from fish to giant elk. Mary Jo was well known for her cookies and cakes. Even after the kids were old enough to move up to middle school, she was still the grade school's "cookie lady".
She is survived by her husband Paul.
Mary and Paul were married over 71 years and raised 5 children, all of whom they are very proud of. Steven Paul Calvert, the oldest son, sadly preceded her in death. Surviving children are: Eva Buehler, Andy (Vicki) Calvert, Laura Freund, and Scott Calvert. She was also preceded in death by 2 grandchildren: Crystal Moler (nee Calvert) and Michael Buehler; her parents: Ross and Mary; her stepfather, Glen Luckner; her brother, Ross Clyborne; and great granddaughters: Ashley Calvert and Jaden Buehler.
She is survived by grandchildren: Tammy (Scott) Fisher, Paul W Calvert, James (Gayle) Buehler, Joseph (Martha) Buehler, David (Kelly) Buehler, Ronnie (Mike) Gideon, Andrew (Michelle) Calvert, Toni Freund (Mike Marts), Traci (Kaylan) Highfield, Abby (Howard) Burton, Susan Freund, step granddaughter Cheri (Kyle) Berthold and many many great and great great grandchildren.
