Lowell Ray Dodd

He was born in Broken Bow, Oklahoma on September 4, 1931 to Cleo Wesley Dodd and Pearl Lee.

Ray enlisted in the United States Army in 1954 and proudly served in the Korean War, earning many medals including a Korean Service Medal, UN Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal.

After an Honorable Discharge he went on to attend Oklahoma State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Social Studies and a minor in English and Science.

He worked many years for Santa Fe Transportation Company having many titles including Stating Clerk, Microfilm Machine operator and Mail Clerk.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tony Lee Dodd.

He is survived by brother; Paul Dodd of Oklahoma and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Ray will be held Monday, April 24, 2023 at 9:00 AM, Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 10 AM, Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
