Linda M. (Langford) Bennett, 57, of Newton, formerly of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on January 24, 2021. Linda graduated from Wichita Heights High School and went on to earn degrees in Nursing and Chinese Medicine. Linda was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church and an avid member of the Legion of Mary. Linda loved her pets and most were adopted from shelters. She enjoyed spending lazy summer days at the Lake of the Ozarks and traveling to see family and friends brought her great joy. Her career included many years as an acute cardiac care nurse and later working with patients in the home health care setting. Linda was devoted to her profession and before her passing was dedicated to the care of COVID-19 patients. Her greatest gift was the donation of both of her kidneys. She is preceded in death by both her beloved parents and a much loved niece. She is survived by 2 sisters; 3 brothers; 11 nieces and nephews; 12 grand nieces and nephews. Private Family Rosary will be Sunday at 6:30 p.m. with a Private Family Funeral Mass on Monday, April 19. Private Family Interment will take place at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Wichita.
