She was born on August 29, 1934 to Samuel & Marcella McColl in Coffeyville, KS. She graduated from St. John's School of Nursing in Tulsa, OK where she received her RN degree. Reading her bible, writing poems and scripture in calligraphy, was something she thoroughly enjoyed. The Dallas Cowboys were always her favorite football team but with a little convincing she became a proud Kansas City Chiefs fan. She admired everything Elvis Presley with a passion. Her car license plate for many years read "LUVLVIS." Her collection of Elvis memorabilia was quite impressive. Elvis Presley's gospel was music to her soul and her comfort right up until her passing.
You never left her presence without a hug and an "l Love You." She will always be loved, never forgotten, and deeply missed.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel & Marcella McColl; husband, Lawrence Anderson; husband, Max Birt; daughter, Cathryn Bundy; grandson, Kyle Eaton; brother, John McColl; sister, Verna Kohler.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Kimberly Eaton (Randall); son, John Birt; granddaughter, Summar VanBuren; granddaughter, Katie Fitzpatrick (Jordan); great grandchildren, Jones, Forest, and Jack Fitzpatrick; great grandchild, Jane Eaton.
There will be a graveside service, Tuesday, April 8, 2025, 3pm at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in the Garden of the Cross.
