God sent a special child to her parents, and they loved and adored her. In her brief life, she was known for her affinity for stickers, her famous side eyes, her beautiful hair, and way of grabbing the room's attention with the wave of her left finger. As siblings will, she liked to bother her older sister and get her riled up. To her parents, she made them cry, but mostly laugh at her crazy antics. Josie was a fighter, through every scare, every operation, every doctor appointment she always came out with a smile. Josie was truly an amazing kid - she loved her doctors, and could be surly to the nurses, but mostly, she could light up a room and melt hearts wherever she was.
Josie is survived by her parents; sister, Isabella Garcia; grandparents, Alicia Montante Gonzalez, Angelica and Jose Luis Moreno (who are also her godmother and godfather), and Rosa (Geronimo Garcia) Gonzalez, Luis Castaneda; aunties and uncles, Melissa Tovar, Alan Tovar, Priscila Castaneda, Jimmy Castaneda, Brittney Castaneda, Hania Jasso, Luis (Rubi) Moreno, Erick Moreno, Eduardo Moreno, Ilse Garcia, Anna Garcia, Lola (Dover) Garcia, Teresa Montante, Jocy Garcia, Mateo Garcia, Yesami Garcia, Kierra Wesley, and Justice Wesley; cousin Luis Angel, Jr.; and the focus of Josie's adoration, Zion Wesley.
