YOUNG, John William, 91, passed away Saturday October 25. John was a WWII Army veteran, retired auto parts salesman, honored member of Shriner’s Director’s staff on veteran’s status. He is preceded in death by his parents David and Eunice Young, beloved first wife Charlene E. Young, sister Marie Buchanan, son John Bradford Young, grandson John Charles Young, and granddaughter Jessica Young. He is survived by Wife Virginia Young, son Robert Alan (Debbie) Young, grandchildren Allison Ashley Smith, Michael Weaver, Tabatha Pierce, and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held October 29th with the family receiving from 6-8 P.M. Services will be held Thursday October 30th at 3 P.M. at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Pilgrim Congregational Church, 6000 E Harry St, Wichita, KS 67218 and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S Market St, Wichita, KS 67202.
