John R. Kropf

John was a retired machinist at Boeing and proudly served in the United States Army. He graduated from Woodward High School, where he played football and ran track. John's hobbies included; tending to his garden, as well as working on and fixing things.

John is survived by his brother, Lloyd Kropf; sons, Terry Smith and Alan Knox; daughter, Sherri Newell; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nephew, James (Mary Lou) Kropf; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara (Smith) Kropf; and daughter in-law, Sharon Smith.

Funeral Service for John will occur on Monday, August 26th at 2:00PM, with visitation one hour prior, at Lakeview Funeral Home. Burial following the service at Lakeview Cemetery in the Garden of Meditation, 12100 East 13th Street North, Wichita, Kansas 67206.
