John Randolph Jones died on 9-5-15 in Wichita, Ks. He was born in Shawnee, OK on 2-28-1925. He was preceded in death by his parents Randolph and Naomi Jones, his wives Anne Kirby Jones and Sarah Herrington Jones. He is survived by his daughter Katherine Jones of Wichita, stepdaughter Debbie Palcher (Gary) of Overland Park, Grandson Adam Palcher (Katie) of Salt Lake City, Granddaughter Hillary Braudis (Chris) of Overland Park, and four great- grandchildren. He graduated from Great Bend High School, proudly served as a Marine in WWII, Graduated from Ft. Hays State. John was employed by FAIC City Service Oil Company and United Industries for 43 years, retiring in 1996. Services will be held on Friday Sept. 11th at Eastminster Presbyterian Church at 10 am on 9-11-15. A burial service will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers you may donate to the above mentioned church or the Wounded Warrior Project.
