Jesse Morgan

Morgan, Jesse, 90, of Wichita, Kansas passed away Saturday January 28, 2017 in Wichita. Jesse was born on January 13, 1927 in Chadwick, Missouri the son of Troy and Sarah Morgan. Jesse and Betty Morgan were united in marriage on May 31, 1953 in Carthage, MO. Together they celebrated 62 years of marriage before her passing in 2016. Jesse served in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. Jesse and Betty moved to Wichita in 1954. He worked at Cessna, and owned Morgan’s Fina Service Station and retired from Boeing Aircraft. He was preceded in passing by his parents, wife, Betty and brother, Carl Morgan. Survivors include his loving children, Neal (Connie) Morgan of Aurora, CO, Alan (Ann) Morgan of Tribune, KS, Stacey (John) Windholz of Bel Aire, KS, Jeffrey Morgan of Wichita, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 pm with funeral services following at 2pm on Wednesday February 1, 2017 both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita. Memorials have been established with Amedisys Hospice of Wichita, 250 W. Douglas Ave. #101, Wichita, KS 67202.
