James G. Hodges, 83, retired Boeing Engineer and Quality Control, passed away on October 2, 2016. He was born on December 3, 1932 in Bartlesville, OK to Merline L. and Cecile May (Maudlin) Hodges, Sr. James was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Tamara Joy. Survivors: wife, Dorothy; brother, Merlin Hodges, Jr.; sister, Ellen (Verlin) Larson; grandchildren: Jason (Rachelle) Scharnhorst, Shane Hodges, Jared Hodges, Chad (Hannah) Ahlers, Corey Ahlers; 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation: Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Home West; Service: 10 a.m. Friday, Sharon Baptist Church, 2221 S. Oliver, Wichita, KS 67218. Memorials may be made to the Church.
