Harold "Hub" A. Hubbard

Harold “Hub” A. Hubbard, 91, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather entered into Heaven on Thursday, November 24, 2016. Harold served in the United States Army during WWII (American, European, Asiatic- Pacific Theaters). Harold retired as Director of Heating and Air Conditioning for the Coleman Company after 37 years. Harold sang in the church choir and volunteered many hours in the music library and to the upkeep of the gardens at Metropolitan Baptist Church, where he was a long time member. He was a devoted husband who cared for his wife Laura, during her struggle with Alzheimer’s.

Preceded in death by his wife Laura, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Karen Hubbard of Wichita; grandchildren, Kayla (Jared) Kennedy and Kevin (Rachel) Hubbard; great grandchildren, Jace and Brie Kennedy; foster daughter, Elsie (Richard) Peetoom, of Wichita.

Viewing from 4-6pm with family present on Monday, November 28 at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary. Funeral service 10:30a.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at Metropolitan Baptist Church. Memorial with Metropolitan Baptist Church, 525 W. Douglas Ave., Wichita, KS 67213.
